CSIR-NEERI is one among those laboratories. CSIR is ranked at 84th among 4851 institutions worldwide and is the only Indian organization among the top 100 global institutions, according to the Scimago Institutions Ranking World Report 2014. CSIR holds the 17th rank in Asia and leads the country at the first position

Indian Concrete Institute (ICI)

Indian Concrete Institute is one of the leading professional bodies in India, catering to the professional needs of individuals and organisations involved in Concrete. Being a non-profit Organisation, it is dedicated to the cause of Disseminating Knowledge on Concrete, to Promote Concrete Technology and Construction and to address the Research Needs of Concrete. The Genesis of ICI dates back to the year 1982, when SERC Chennai and Anna University jointly conducted an International Seminar on Modern Concrete Construction Practices. The overwhelming response to the seminar prompted the Organisers to start the Indian Concrete Institute. Thus, the ICI was born in 1982 with around 500 members from 5 regional Centres. Since then, there is no looking back and ICI has grown in leaps and bounds. Today ICI is a strong professional body having more than 12, 000 enrolled members, from 38 regional Centres in all major cities, spread across the entire length and breadth of the country. Of these, more than 270 are Organisational Members. All segments of cement and concrete industries are widely represented in the membership.

Ready Mixed Concrete Manufacturers' Association (RMCMA)

The Ready Mixed Concrete Manufacturers' Association (RMCMA), India, is a non-profit industry organization of leading ready mixed concrete producers from India. The vision of RMCMA is to make ready-mixed concrete the preferred building material of choice across the whole of India. The RMCMA is committed to provide leadership to the ready-mixed concrete industry in India. It advances the interests of the entire ready mixed concrete industry in India, without sacrificing the interests of end users, designers, specifiers owners, and others. It provides a variety of services to its Members in respect of trade, commerce, promotion, education, etc. connected with ready mixed concrete. The RMCMA will encourage the sustainable development of concrete industry in India and its staff and Members would strive to emphasize the fact that concrete is the best environmental-friendly material of construction available today. The RMCMA would provide latest information on products and services to all its Members so that they are able to upgrade their operations continually. It would share the latest developments in concrete technology with its members and the customers of ready mixed concrete. The RMCMA would strive to expand the market for ready mixed concrete in India. It would endeavor to bring a large majority of RMC manufactures under its fold so that a strong combined voice of the industry can be used to find meaningful solutions on various issues hindering the healthy growth of the industry.


Tunnelling Association of India (TAI) is the Indian chapter of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association of India (ITA) established in 1991, has been involved in dissemination of information about the latest technological development in the execution of tunnel and underground projects by encouraging planning of the use of subsurface and to promote advances in the preparatory investigations for tunnels, design, construction and maintenance of tunnels and also by organizing symposia, seminars, workshops, and training courses, both at national as well as international level, in liaison with international organizations.

The American Concrete Institute (ACI)

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is the premier professional Institute in the sphere of concrete for over 100 years and has its motto “Progress through knowledge”. The India Chapter of ACI has completed 38 years of its existence furthering its objectives of encouraging developments in concrete and its applications as also organising technical programmes and training. It is a stated objective of India Chapter of ACI to gather, co-related and disseminates information for improvement on the design, construction practices, manufacture, use and maintenance of concrete structures and products. The India Chapter of ACI has been immensely successful in this endeavour and is in the forefront of bringing the state-of- the-art knowledge in the realm of concrete and all its allied products. It has around 2000 members spread all over India, who actively participate in all its activities. IC-ACI publishes a quarterly journal “Concrete India”, which is complementary to our members. IC-ACI has been awarded the ‘Excellent Chapter Award’ by the ACI for 18 consecutive years.

The agencies associated with MMRC for business and projects such as consultants, contractors and suppliers shall not represent MMRC without taking due permissions from the organization.

MMRC shall always abide by ethical standards, honesty, integrity and exhibit professionalism in its all forms of interactions. A fair and transparent code of conduct should be demonstrated in each of its deals.

Co-occurring employment
An MMRC employee shall not offer his services or work as a freelance with any other organization without written consent/approval from MMRC.

Integrity of data provided
Every employee of MMRC shall provide data or information which is true to his knowledge and always ensure the integrity of data furnished by him. He/she shall be completely responsible for the accuracy of the information/data provided as well as he/she shall retain the confidentiality of the same.

Every employee of MMRC shall adhere to the legislation, and shall work towards becoming an asset to the organization.

Construction Equipment Rental Association (CERA) is a not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed national organization registered with government of India under the Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860, with over 500 companies from construction equipment & crane rental companies and equipment manufacturing sector, as members and associate members, respectively, across India; working to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth and development of construction equipment rental industry.
